One of Canada’s most accomplished Hip Hop Dancers Travis Lim will be a judge for the World of Dance Competition in Vancouver on June 7th and 8th, 2019

Seventeen-year-old Travis Lim, one of Canada’s most accomplished Hip Hop Dancers, is pleased to announce that once again he will be on the Judges panel in all-Canadian events for the upcoming World of Dance completion tour that will have a stop this June 7th and 8that the Aria Convention Centre in Surrey, B.C. https://www.worldofdance.com/events/wodvan19 World of Dance events feature the industry’s best as judges, performers, or guests, including many performers who have appeared in nationally televised dance competitions, such as World of Dance, So You Think You Can Dance, America’s Best Dance Crew (ABDC), and more. The brand encompasses more platforms than any other dance content provider or dance show case, including World of Dance competitions in more than 25 countries, the NBC World of Dance television show (executive produced by Jennifer Lopez),   

World of Dance is the largest International Urban Dance Competition with focus on the art of street dancing and today’s new aged choreography. Competitors are scored based on performance, technique, choreography, creativity, and presentation. World of Dance is the largest touring event that embraces Urban Dance and Lifestyle. Hundreds of participants with the country’s top dance teams, and thousands of spectators will partake in a performance festival setting, awarding today’s top dancers with the most prestigious acknowledgements. The 2019 World of Dance Tour promises to deliver an unparalleled experience to both participants and spectators in an effort to build a reputation as the Nation’s authority in Urban Dance Culture.  


Travis Lim started his career on the competitive stage making a name for himself at various international competitions winning a Silver and Gold medal at HHI’s World Hip-Hop Championships, 3 Golds at the IDO World Championships, Getting certified to be a HHI Judge, and travelling on our very own World of Dance tour as the first WOnDerkid. Since then he’s been featured in World of Dance Season 2 Duala along with his crew Freshh, hosted his own television show HipHop with Travis Limon the Shaw network, and other various television series. Not only is he an international figure, Travis has a strong presence in the Vancouver community donating his time and studio to further develop Vancouver’s dance scene all while teaching his own students, performing internationally, and achieving in school. Starting September Travis will be living in LA pursuing his career will continuing his studies at UCLA.

Travis is a role model, a champion and a spoke person who exudes confidence, dedication, passion that he commands in life on and off the stage encouraging people to follow their dreams.
