Intrigo: Death of An Author starring Academy Award® winner Ben Kingsley and Benno Fürmann Opens in Select Theaters and On Demand Friday, January 17, 2020

Rick Dugdale continues to develop and grow Enderby Entertainment’s global presence with multi-picture deals with major studios such as the Intrigo Anthology

Rick Dugdale is producing feature films all over the world with A-list actors.  Dugdale has completed work on Enderby Entertainment’s most ambitious project to date: The Intrigo Anthology – three films shot back to back, based upon a series of European best-sellers by the immensely popular Swedish author Håkan Nesser. Daniel Alfredson directed each of the films with Pawel Edelman as Director of Photography. The three films are entitled Intrigo: Death of an Author, Intrigo: Dear Agnes and Intrigo: Samaria.  Shortly before this, Dugdale produced Night Hunter starring Henry Cavill, Sir Ben Kingsley, Alexandra D’Dadario and Stanley Tucci.  The first Intrigo: Death of An Author will be released on January 17, 2020 in select theatres and On Demand across North America.

Based on the global best seller by Hakan Nesser and starring Academy Award® winner Ben Kingsley (Ghandi) and Benno Fürmann (Babylon Berlin) as David, this tense, riveting thriller will keep you guessing. Other cast includesTuva Novotny (Eva), Michael Byrne (Keller), Veronica Ferres (Kerr), and Daniela Lavender (Mariam). After an author named David plots the seemingly accidental murder of his wife, her body is never recovered, and he’s convinced that she’s still alive. Meanwhile, as David translates the final novel by a writer who also died mysteriously, he finds himself attracted to the man’s sultry widow. Fact or fiction, life or death… in this tale, nothing is certain.
