Nicole Oliver joins a stellar cast in Hallmark Channel’s A Family Christmas Gift with Holly Robinson Peete & Patti Labelle premiering Sunday, December 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT

Her role on Man in the High Castle and behind the camera voice directing projects for YouTube, Netflix, CBC and PBS keep Nicole non-stop busy 

Nicole Oliver is one of the most respected talents in the film industry as an actor and steadily climbing as a go to voice director in animation. Nicole’s newest role is the supporting lead along side Holly Robinson Peete (Morning Show Mysteries: Murder Most Fair, Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy) and Dion Johnstone (Sweet Magnolias, Star Falls), along with Patti LaBelle (Star, Christmas Everlasting) star in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries “A Family Christmas Gift,” a new original premiering Sunday, December 22, (9 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel as part of the network’s annual “Miracles of Christmas” programming event.

Nicole plays the role of Leah Andrews a cheerful stay-at-home mom who is Amber’s (Holly Robinson Peete) close friend who is delighted when Amber comes to town for the first time in years.  A parent volunteer for the big fundraiser, Leah is a natural organizer who is the wind beneath Amber’s wings when it comes to the heavy lifting for the “chemistry” developing between Amber and Alan.

Nicole is also thrilled to play Zina in two episodes of the hit series Man in the High Castle season 4 just released on Amazon Prime. Nicole’s character was a member of the resistance who survived the bombing of her hometown in this alternate reality take on history. Nicole is unrecognizable thanks to the talented make-up and prosthetics team. Her scenes with Alexa Davalos (Juliana Crain) and Louis Ferriera (Brad Bellows-leader of the D.C. Resistance) make for great TV watching.

Nicole is on the fast track to becoming one of animations go to voice directors. Nicole also steps behind the camera voice directing three projects for YouTube, Netflix, PBS/CBC including Molly of Denall as well as continuing to voice numerous characters. Nicole is one of the most sought after voice over actors in demand for her roles in cartoons both on the small screen (My Little Pony, LEGO Nexo Knights, Kate & Mim Mim) and big screen (Seth Rogen’s “Sausage Party”), Princess Celestia on “My Little Pony: The Movie”). She is the recipient of the UBCP/ACTRA award for Best Voice for her work in animation.

Nicole has worked alongside impressive A-list actors with a role in Wonder, starring Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson and Jacob Tremblay. Other career highlights include a lead role in the acclaimed film festival circuit indie-gem Marrying the Family and expanded her diverse entertainment career in the role of Britney Spears’ mother Lynne Spears in the Lifetime Movie Britney Ever After. 

Nicole has guest starred on numerous television series including Supernatural, Rogue, and Somewhere Between. She has also starred in many MOW’s including Radio Hype starring Alison Sweeney, Lifetime’s Ungodly Acts, The Christmas Ornament starring Cameron Mathison and Kellie Martin, The Woodcarverwith John Ratzenberger; Taken Back – Finding Haley with Amanda Tapping and Innocent with Bill Pullman and Marcia Gay Harden. For four seasons, Nicolewas also the host on the hit Slice Network series Crash Test Mommy. Another highlight for Nicolewas acting alongside her young son, William Ainscough, who starred as Billy in City TV’s Seed for two seasons. Nicole Oliver is also part of an ensemble cast in the Sci-Fi Web Series “NarcoLeap” and CBC’s miniseries Unspeakable about the tainted blood scandal in the 80s and 90s in Canada.  

Well known throughout the world at Brony and Fan Conventions as Princess Celestia and Cheerilee on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magicand Zoe on the cartoon Littlest Pet Shop, her acclaimed voice-over work continues to thrive. In animation, she has popular roles on The Hollow, Bob The Builder, and The Dragon Prince, and will continue to appear in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic which finishes it’s 9th and final season this year. She has provided her voice to over 100 companies including American Express, Starbucks, Salon Selectives, Club House, and IKEA.

Nicole Oliver has worked for over twenty-five years in the entertainment industry as an actor, producer, and director. This multi-talented, incredibly busy mother and professional has mastered the balance between family and work, and has furthered her education with a Masters of Arts in Communication from Royal Roads University (2011). She is the recipient of both the Founders Award for leadership and sustainability and the Chancellors Award for highest academic achievement.
