Get Fast stars multi-award-winning actor Lou Diamond Phillips (Young Guns, Stand and Deliver), Lee Majdoub (Sonic the Hedgehog Franchise), Fei Ren (Polar, The Romeo Section) and James C. Clayton (Bullet Proof, Residue). Other notable cast include Philip Granger (Netflix’s Maid, The Order), Bradley Stryker (Let Him Go, The Order), Alisha-Marie Ahamed (Netflix’s The Haunting of Bly Manor), and introducing Suleiman Abutu as Tom, the orphan in his first feature film role. Get Fast will be featured at the American Film Market 2024 in Las Vegas, November 5 – 10, 2024.
When his partner (Phil Granger) in crime is kidnapped after pulling off a massive money heist, a notorious professional thief (James C. Clayton) tracks the abductors into the territory of a merciless drug lord, pursued by dirty cops, low-level cronies, and the crime syndicate’s deadliest hitman, a gun-loving and coldly charming sociopath known as The Cowboy (Lou Diamond Phillips). But with millions of dollars and multiple lives at stake, how long will loyalty amongst thieves last when the bullets start flying?
Get Fast is the second in a franchise of new and exciting action films from director James C. Clayton. It follows the 2022 release of Bullet Proof, starring Vinnie Jones, which was released by Lionsgate and IndustryWorks Studios and produced by IndustryWorks Studios and Play by Play Productions.
The screenplay is written by James C. Clayton and Cooper Bibaud from the story by Cooper Bibaud, Danny Mac, and James C. Clayton. The producers are Marc Petey, Jonnie Bros, and James C. Clayton. Executive Producers include Evan Tylor, Caterina Scrivano, Blaine Anderson, Ryan Ennis, and Ross Marroso. Cinematographer Ryan Petey shot the entire movie in Kamloops and Cache Creek in June/July 2023. Andrea Stefancikova provided the Canadian Casting, and Zach Steele edited the film.
