Multi-talented Karen Holness has a busy 2019 with roles on The 100, My Mom’s Letter from Heaven, Always Be My Maybe, The Art of Running in the Rain and Travelers & more.
Karen continues to amaze us with her elegance and strength as an actor and vocalist.
There is no slowing down for multi-talented actor Karen Holness. This spring Karen has a number of productions including Lifetime TV’s MOW My Mom’s Letter from Heaven airing on April 20th at 10:00 pm. A single father has a fractious relationship with his rebellious teenage daughter. When a lost letter written to the daughter from her dying mother is miraculously found, everything starts to turn around. Inspired by a true story. Playing a hero for the first time, Karen plays Maggie in a role mixed with surprises starring alongside Barry Watson, Cindy Busby, and Jordyn Ashley Olson.
Karen also has a recurring role on the new season of The 100 that starts airing on April 30th. Her ark as the character Blythe Ann begins on episode 3 that airs mid-May. Tune in as Karen plays one of the weirdest characters that she has ever played, with lots under the surface, Karen refers to this role as deep and delicious. Karen enjoyed the experience as The 100is such a huge production with a high level of commitment from everyone on set.
Karen is also a gifted singer that was helpful for her booking the role Always Be My Maybe a comedy-drama that will be airing on Netflix in May 2019. Starring Ali Wong, Keanu Reeves, Randall Park, Daniel Dae Kim. Karen’s character is Kathy a Diana Ross Impersonator who ends up in some interesting situations. Also on Netflix, you can see Karen on several episodes of Travelers that were directed by Amanda Tapping who also directed her on The 100.
