Film To Screen At 10 Theatres Across The US
Farpoint Films is proud to announce their feature film, MENORCA, will have its US premiere at AMC theatres on December 9. Menorca is distributed in the United States by A71 Entertainment.
Menorca is the dramatic feature film debut of Farpoint co-founder John Barnard and recently had its world premiere at the 2016 Whistler Film Festival in British Columbia.
The film, shot in Canada and Spain, centres on a hedonistic soccer mom, Claire (played by Tammy Gillis), that embarks on a strange journey of self-discovery and seeks to reconnect with her estranged son by returning his pet rock back to the island of Menorca, Spain.
Menorca will be playing at AMC Orange 30 (LA), AMC South Barrington 30 (Chicago), AMC Grapevine Mills 30 (Dallas), AMC Studio 30 (Houston), AMC Disney Springs 24 (Orlando), AMC Star Great Lakes 25 (Detroit), AMC Westminster Promenade 24 (Denver), AMC Arizona Center 24 (Phoenix), AMC Southlake 24 (Atlanta), and AMC Sunset Place 24 (Miami). Menorca was written and directed by John Barnard, produced by John Barnard and Kyle Bornais, and executive produced by Chris Charney and Scott R. Leary.
The cast of Menorca includes lead actor Tammy Gillis (Unleashing Mr. Darcy), Sheila E. Campbell (The Editor), Dorothy Carroll(Winnipeg Burlesque), Aaron Merke (Advanced Wizards & Warriors), Talia Pura (The Saddest Music In The World), and Michael O’Sullivan (Careful).
