For immediate release: Vancouver, April 2020 – New episodes of the TV series Get Cooking with the Stars with creator/host Laurie Belle will be airing on CHEK TV on Saturdays April 4, 11 and 18 at 3:00 pm and Novus TV daily. Get Cooking with the Stars is a celebrity cooking series that takes viewers on a tantalizing journey to visit the hottest eateries, cook incredible dishes and chat with famous celebrities on each half-hour show. Laurie embarks on culinary adventures with celebrated chefs that share their favorite dishes, new cooking skills, and techniques from their menu.

On the April 4th episode actor Jaime Callica from Tyler Perry’s new hit TV series Ruthless teams up with renowned comedian Darryl Lennox to join Laurie at Ban Chok with a Thai Beef Salad cook-off with Chef Parinya. On the April 11th episode, Laurie travels to the Williams Lake Rodeo to be joined by B. C. country music singer and Canadian Idol alumni Karen Lee Batten to brand a 150 burger from Loon Lake with Chef Melissa. Actor/stunts/boxer Darcy Hinds (Riverdale, The Flash, Supergirl) boxes up an Afghani feast on April 18th at the Afghan Horseman Restaurant with Chef Mier while being entertained by their in-house belly dancer.

Laurie Belle, the vibrant host of “Get Cooking With the Stars,” has an extensive background in the entertainment industry – from appearing in television shows, movies, commercials and music videos to modeling internationally. She also has a business degree, a communications degree and a Master’s degree in Education. Getting the inside scoop with celebrities and interviewing high-profile personalities comes effortlessly to her. Laurie has also interviewed Gene Simmons, supermodel Coco Rocha and politician Hedy Fry who are fans and supporters of the show. She makes her guests at ease with her fun and lively personality. Having covered interviews on the Red Carpet at VIFF, TIFF, the Olympics, Leo Awards and Vancouver Fashion Week this is one savvy host ready to cook up new adventures with you!
