January is a Busy Month for Award-winning Actress Camille Mitchell

Watch her on the new dramedy The Healing Powers of Dude premiering January 13th on Netflix and on the CW’s new Arrow Spin Off, Green Arrow and the Canaries on January 21st.

No rest for award-winning actor Camille Mitchell who is busy making cappuccinos and dog treats in her recurring role as Rosie on Netflix’s new dramedy, The Healing Powers of Dude and sipping fine wines at the family manse as the Mafia boss’ wife, Maria Bertinelli, on the CW’s Arrow spin-off series pilot, Green Arrow and the Canaries.

 The Healing Powers of Dude, an eight-episode series will start streaming on Netflix on January 13, 2020. It is a new family-comedy series that centers on Rosie’s darling, an 11-year-old Noah Ferris (newcomer Jace Chapman), who is struggling with a social anxiety disorder when in comes a high-energy emotional support dog called Dude (voiced by Steve Zahn). As a dog-owner all her life, Camille recently adopted Ginger from the downtown Los Angeles Pound and is no stranger to the healing powers of canines. Richie Keen (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Fist Fight, Teachers) directs. 


For CW’s highly anticipated Arrow spinoff pilot, Camille plays Mafia boss wife Maria Bertinelli, joining Katherine McNamara who stars as Mia Smoak, on Green Arrow and the Canaries that will be airing on the CW on January 21.

Camille has garnered extraordinary acclaim for her versatility onstage and onscreen. She was nominated for the 2019 Leo Award for Best Guest Performance by a Female in a Dramatic Series on Netflix’s hit series Van Helsing with Kelly Overton and was also nominated for a 2018 Leo Award for her role as Esperanza on ABC’s Somewhere Between with Paula Patton and portrayed tough-talking Sheriff Nancy Adams on the CW’s hit television show Smallville for five seasons. A leading lady at the Stratford and Shaw festivals, where she was hailed her as “a gift to the theatre” by the London Times, Camille won Canada’s Jessie Award for her portrayal of Ariel in Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” and was also nominated for Best Actress Awards for Blanche in “A Streetcar Named Desire,” opposite Kim Coates (star of Sons of Anarchy, Bad Blood), Madame Tourvel in “Les Liaisons Dangereuses,” and Elizabeth in “The Crucible.” 


Born in Los Angeles to Hollywood star Cameron Mitchell and Johanna Mendel Mitchell, and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Camille studied at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England. She divides her time between Vancouver, Toronto and Los Angeles.
